Akihiro Kawada: Project Coordinator
My main job is the coordination of the project. I coordinate several matters among the team, FMI, COM, JICA resident representative, FSM Government, Embassy of Japan and JICA headquarters.
However, the project management is the most important matter; such as budget control, meeting arrangement, official documentation, receiving of delegations, promotion for the project and others. And my favorite and hard job is editing the newsletter.

Taro Kawamoto : Fishing and Navigation Expert

As a part of activities, I have developed Fishing module textbooks(Fishing module I to IV), GMDSS textbook, Local fisherman's workshop textbook and several kinds of Training manuals such as Radar simulation training, chart work and Navigation instruments. At the same time, I also have organized school training plan such as module based training plan and 2 years collage training systems.

Tsutae Sato: Chief advisor
Let's go to FMI and study Fisheries and Maritime course.
Fisheries study includes fishing, fish processing, fisheries science among others.
Your study at FMI will be very useful in the management of the resources within the FSM's exclusive economic zone.
