Duties:
Responsible for the welfare of students with regards to physical condition and fitness of students to undergo studies at the school; reports the welfare and activities of students to the student services coordinator; in charge of student activities like arranging games within and/or among the schools on the island and the local community; arranging school picnics, festivities, or any other social functions; establishing better relations with the local community. In charge of students transport to and from field trip, official trips or other social activities. Takes inventory of all beddings and linen and ensures that they are kept clean and tidy; is responsible for the cleanliness of the student's quarter's and public rooms in the dormitory and conducts daily inspection of the same. Serve on committees. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
AS degree from higher education at an accredited institution with a major in PE or related area of responsibility with two years work experience in the assigned area preferred. Must be physically fit. Must have a personal affinity for physical education. Must be able to relate with students as well as the local community. Must have a valid driver's license. Must demonstrate successful dealings with interpersonal communication. Demonstrate successful experience supervising others and program activities. Must be able to conduct calisthenics or other physical exercises. Must have a good command of the English language and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
