Duties:
Under the supervison of the Project Director, the AA performs administrative and technical duites not limited to the following: handling of correspondence, inventories, memos, and reports; monitoring of fund expenditures along with the accountant from Chuuk Business Office; maintaining confidential student files; supervising student workers; assisting the Director and staff with the Annual Performance Report and other administrative duties; and serving on committees as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school with four years of progressively responsible work experience. OR an AS degree from a US accredited two year institution with major coursework in office management, business administration or secretarial science with two years of progressively responsible work experience. Knowledge and ability to use PC computers, familiarity with Microsoft word, excel PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs, perform speedy and accurate mathematical calculations, fiscal and personnel record keeping, office management and students services support work. Ability to type 45 words per minute; knowledge and experience of modern office practices and procedures. Ability to work effectively with a diverse staff and students. Willingness to be trained is a plus.
