Representing the COM-FSM at the meeting were Brent Villiers, Patty Grandos, and Penny Weilbacher. The team came to Pohnpei Campus to meet with the staff regarding the grants given to Pohnpei Campus.

Penny also reported that the scaling down of the gymnasium project due to insufficient funds left the building without a floor. In light of this new information, Phase I of the gymnasium structure could not be utilized until Phase II, which requires additional funding in the amount of $100,000, is completed. This information has prompted the Campus Director to look into all funding possibilities including the executive and legislative branches of Pohnpei State and the Rural Development Grant/Loan Program.
