Grading     Weekly quizzes = 300 points (25 points each)    A = 900 – 1000 points

                        Participation     = 300 points (10 points a day)  B = 800 – 899 points

                        Assignments     = 100 points

                        Mid-term           = 150 points                                        C = 700 – 799 points

                        Final                 = 150 points                                        D = 600 – 699 points

                                                1000 points total

 

Attendance – If you miss a class (sickness, funeral, skipping) it is YOUR

           RESPONSIBILITY to find out what work you missed and to complete that

           work. College policy states that after 4 absences you will be withdrawn

           from the class.

 

Course Description – This course will prepare students to communicate effectively

     in an academic setting.
