Dress and Footwear Requirements: Due to the nature of this course, specific clothing and footwear are mandatory for attendance to be permitted under OH&S rules. To be explained during enrollment.

 

Evaluation:

Final Grade for this course will be based on meeting the course requirements at the following percentage rate:

90% -100%     A – Superior                                        Mid Term Exam           30%

80% - 89%      B – Above Average                              Practical                       20%

70% - 79%      C – Average                                         Drawings                      20%

60% - 69%      D – Below Average                              Final Exam                   30%

0 %  - 59%      F – Failure

 

Attendance:

Students who are absent for more than two classes will be automatically dropped from the course.

 

 

 

Course Description: VCT 193 Cabinetmaking and Millwork                     (4)

Prerequisites: VCT 153

This course is designed to provide carpentry students with the knowledge and skills necessary to fabricate and install either custom or factory built cabinets and millwork.
