This program is a cooperative venture between COM-FSM Pohnpei Campus and the COM-FSM National Campus Business Administration Division. It provides students with the basics of hotel, restaurant and tourism management as well as food service production. Students learn the importance of building an ecotourism economy and how Micronesia fits into the world of tourism economy. The program presently emphasizes preparing graduates to work in the hospitality industry focusing on managerial skills, while giving them the ability to handle all aspects of hotel service, food ordering, preparation and service within the hotel and or restaurant setting. Graduates will have the opportunity to work the hospitality field both within Micronesia and in other national settings.
