Objectives: Students will develop listening comprehension skills necessary for an academic environment. The students will develop note-taking skills, test-taking skills, and strategies for guessing and predicting information.

Week 15-16    The Media (Ch.11)

 

Grading:

n     TALK Scores (20%)

n     Vocabulary Quizzes (20%)

n     Pop Quizzes (20%)

n     Midterm and Final (40%)

 

Academic Honesty Policy:

If a student is observed looking at another student’s paper during a test or quiz, the offending student’s paper will be taken away. The student will receive a zero on the test or quiz.
