SERVICES PROVIDED

The Campus Security Office is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and local laws, as well as the policies and regulations of the College of Micronesia-FSM . The officers patrol on foot and perform security services, such as responding to and reporting on incident reports, investigations, assistance in emergency situations, enforcing of laws regulating the use of alcohol, drugs and weapons.

Investigations relating to this institution are conducted in a joint effort with the local law enforcement agencies and a selected qualified staff from this office. The Campus Security Office maintains a good working relationship with the local law enforcement agencies.

Other Services Provided:

On-Campus or Off Campus Activities - Upon request by other offices, divisions or departments, the Campus Security and Safety Office, provides officers to monitor and maintain peace and safety at every function, if it be on or off campus.

Emergencies - The Campus Security and Safety Office is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to assist in emergency situations.

Timely Warnings

In the event that a threat to the community is identified a message is provided via e-mail and fliers throughout the community.
