Interactions One: A Listening and Speaking Skills Book. Third Edition. United States of America. McGraw-Hill International, 1997. Course Description: The course is designed to improve the student’s overall ability in Speaking and Listening to better prepare them to succeed in college. Required Materials: Always bring your textbooks, notebooks, a highlighter marker and writing materials everyday. Class policy: Students are encouraged to participate daily. No betlenut, gum chewing or spitting in class. Do not copy other student’s work. If you do, you will receive a zero for that assignment. Grading: Quizzes – 10 X 10 = 100 points A = 450-500, B = 400-450, C = 350-400, D = 300-350 Attendance Policy: Students must attend class and be on time. You will be dropped from the class after 9 absences. Students more than 15 minutes late WILL be marked as absent. You are responsible to find out what you missed when you were absent.
