If another student were to ask you to describe Mr. Lee Ling as an
instructor, what would tell them?
HE TEACHES WITH MUCH KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT AT HAND,
PROVIDING PERSONAL EXPERIENCE TO BROADEN AND ENLIGHTEN THE CLASS (RATHER THAN SPEAKING IN
THE USUAL MONOTONAL DICTATION OF THE TEXTBOOK LIKE MANY, AND THEY SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS,
TEACHERS). HIS OUTINGS FOR THE CLASS PROVIDE THE STUDENTS WITH PRACTICAL LEARNING, WHICH I
BELIEVE EXPANDS THE SCOPE AND INTEREST OF THE SUBJECT. YET HE DOES NOT LEAVE HIS STUDENTS
SIMPLE LETTER GRADES ON A REPORT CARD THAT WOULD REMAIN HIDDEN IN COLLEGE FILES, BUT
ALLOWS HIS STUDENTS' IDENTITIES KNOWN TO THE WORLD WHEN PUBLISHING THE SEMESTER'S PROJECT
ONLINE; AN ACT THAT SERVES THE STUDENTS, THE FACULTY, AND INTERESTED INTERNET SURFERS. I
WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE AS A GREAT TEACHER, AS WELL AS
PERSON.

S - Meets expectations. This rating typically identifies performance that is at a
satisfactory level and indicates that the faculty member is fully meeting the quality and
quantity of work required and expected of college

satisfactory in terms of the quality and/or quantity required or expected.
U – Unsatisfactory. This rating identifies performance that is considerably
below the level normally required or expected of the faculty in terms of quality and/or
quantity. A
NA – Not applicable. This term is used to designate those particular activities
for which the faculty member has no responsibility during the relevant evaluation
period.
