The education division offers courses and workshops in educational foundations and methodology to both pre-service and in-service teachers. Presently the division is busy integrating technology as a teaching tool into all coursework. Concurrently all courses are being revised to reflect special education issues, as inclusion, and second language teaching strategies.

The education program consists of both a two year Associate's degree in education and a third year program where students with an Associate's degree in a non-education field can complete the requirements for teacher certification here in Micronesia. The programs are designed to prepare Micronesians for careers in education here in Micronesia.
