The Media and Instructional Technology Center is staffed with three people.

Joe Saimon is the Coordinator of this Center. He reports to the Director of the Learning Resources Center. Any official inquiries regarding the MITC shall be addressed to him.

Background: Joseph received his BA from the University of the South Pacific in  his double majors, Journalism and History/Politics. Prior to becoming the Coordinator of this Center, he worked with the Pohnpei Government-owned V6AH Radio, overseeing productions and administration of the station. He has experience in video, print, radio and Internet productions.

Luciano Mathias

Luciano Mathias is the Center's Media Technician. Inquires regarding the operation of the Center's equipment could be directed to him. Luciano reports to the MITC Coordinator.

Background: Luciano completed some courses at the College of Micronesia - FSM between the period of 1980 to 1982. Prior to becoming the MITC Media Technician, he worked with the Pohnpei Department of Education as a graphic artist, preparing art work for the DOE and managing the department's machines.

Karleen is the Center's Bookkeeper. All bookings and requests are handled by her. She reports to the MITC Coordinator.

Background: Before coming here, Karleen was a clerk with the Pohnpei Attorney General's office, her second job after leaving the Development Institute (FSM) Inc.. She holds a Diploma and Special Certificate in Business and is currently undergoing some intensive librarian training.
